Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using Mappy. By using the application, you agree to use it responsibly and understand that routing and geocoding results may not always be perfect.
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Service purpose
Mappy helps users import addresses from Excel, CSV or JSON, add them manually or by QR/camera OCR, validate them, sort or optimize stops, organize up to 10 stops per zone, save reusable address lists with an optional account, and open map/navigation links. The service is provided as a planning aid and does not guarantee legal, traffic, delivery or mapping accuracy.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you use Google sign-in, Google authenticates your identity and Mappy creates or accesses your Mappy account based on that verified identity.
Age and Google sign-in
Mappy is a general-audience service and is not directed to children. A person below the minimum age applicable where they live may use Mappy only with parent or guardian permission where the law allows it. Mappy does not knowingly use children’s personal information for personalized advertising. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information without required permission. Google sign-in is optional; the core planner works without it.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service, bypass rate limits, attempt unauthorized access, scrape, reverse engineer protected APIs, upload harmful content, or use Mappy for unlawful activity.
Address and route accuracy
Address validation and route planning depend on third-party map and geocoding providers. Results can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or unavailable. Always verify important locations before starting a delivery or trip.
Automated processing and AI transparency
Camera OCR is automated and may misread text. It runs in the browser, presents the recognized text for review and requires your confirmation before adding an address. Long-text address extraction and route sorting use deterministic or heuristic logic; Mappy is not a generative-content service and does not represent these results as AI-authored advice.
EU AI Act Article 50 transparency duties apply from August 2, 2026. Mappy public, help and legal content is human-reviewed and released under Mappy editorial responsibility. If a future feature publishes generative public-interest text without human review or editorial control, Mappy will clearly label it at first exposure and apply any required machine-readable marking under applicable law.
Confirmed address aliases
If you choose to save a confirmed address alias, you confirm that the alias and address are accurate for your use. Mappy may use that user-confirmed alias in the same browser to improve future address validation. Aliases based on Google-sourced geocoding results are temporary and expire after 30 days.
Public business aliases
Mappy may maintain curated, time-limited public business/place aliases from official public sources or manual review. These aliases are used only to improve the visible address validation workflow and may be revalidated, disabled or removed when outdated, disputed or no longer lawful to use.
Third-party services
Mappy may use third-party services such as geocoding providers, map tiles, hosting, analytics, email delivery, Google Sign-In and Google Maps Platform. Google-sourced geocoding results may be limited, expired, revalidated or shown through Google-compatible map/navigation surfaces to comply with provider terms. Google Maps features and content are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service (https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Your use of those features may also be subject to third-party terms.
Advertising and analytics
Advertising and third-party analytics are not active in the current release. Before enabling Google AdSense, Google Ads measurement or optional analytics, Mappy will update its disclosures and provide the consent, opt-out and privacy-signal controls required for the user’s region. Google sign-in data will not be used for advertising.
Saved routes
Saved routes are stored as reusable address lists. Mappy keeps the original address text, not provider coordinates, formatted provider results or completed zones/navigation links, in saved routes. When you load one, its addresses are validated again before new zones can be created. You are responsible for verifying important locations before delivery or travel.
Availability and changes
Mappy may change, limit or discontinue features, including free usage limits, to maintain the service and comply with provider policies.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mappy is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate geocoding, routing decisions, outages or misuse of the application.
